Preparing assets for the iPhone 4 can be a tricky business when you need to ensure you've created the retina display assets as well as the standard resolution.

For anybody that doesn't know what I mean; the iPhone 4 has a retina display which is basically (and conveniently) twice the resolution of the older iPhone screens.

The Hype framework is a fantastic, really easy to use framework devised by Joshua Davis and Branden Hall. It allows you to very quickly create Generative Artwork and is specifically tailored to creative Flash designers and developers who want to see results fast with minimum coding.

One of the most interesting aspects of the framework is the SoundAnalyzer class as this gives you access to the sound spectrum of any audio playing through the Flash player.

While with Code I designed a bunch of logos for a suite of RIA's they were planning on building. The brief was to create a unique brand identity for each of the products in the suite while keeping an overall identity to the AdZu family of products. I decided to stick to a typographic convention for each product while choosing a bright, vibrant colour identity that would be used to identify the product within the larger picture on the website.
